Theresienhoehe 30, Munich
Very modern and comfort Chinese Szechuan cuisine Restaurant. Located at the heart of Munich city, cross the street to the famous Oktoberfest ground. Have quiet and beautiful back garden. Friendly wait staff, best Chinese food in Munich. We are trying very hard to bring you all the original taste from Szechuan, China. Those dishes you enjoyed here are the same as they were served in China. After all, keep the best quality and freshness is our Goal to serve our customers. We wish you have a good appetite and a wonderful time in Yulan.
It used to be quite good, I'm not sure if the boss has changed or, food is a disaster, too much öllllll ......... not recommended ....
Food okay, but not special. Waiter not so friendly. Location is ok
Good food. Like it
Super delicious food and beautiful interior. Original ingredients .. many Szechuan dishes
The guy who served us was somehow not very welcoming. Dandan mian was zero spicy, literally zero, but the cold noodles were actually very tasty. Fish fragrant eggplant was okish. The 干锅鸭 was tasty, not so spicy but numby enough. In general they use very good ingredients, it's authentic Sichuan good, but the taste of everything could be improved.
Expected more flavors, specially after their high rate in 点评. Ordered thru Lieferando and got food with 0 spicyness even tho it was indicated as spicy. Didn’t have even any Chinese spices flavor, tasted like it was made for German taste and they used only salt. Also the prices are too high, for example for vegetarian meal more than 10 euro or chicken for 20+ euro. At least you expect it to be really authentic for that price.
Super restaurant with special dishes - a special treat both visually and in terms of taste! we will be back.
Excellent typical restaurant. Fair prices and varied and interesting offer. One of my favorites in Munich! Sweet and sour pork with puffed rice is worth trying!
Always great meals there. Hotpot is available and with ordering ahead (highly recommended to skip waiting for too long!) is great.
One of the waiter yelling and swear at us because we didn’t understand german. We asked him to talk to us nicely but he didn’t listen but continued yelling in different language. He embarrassed us in front of the whole restaurant.
The amount of food is super small, super expensive, and the taste is very normal. There is no difference between back-cooked meat and back-cooked shallots. The waiter is very arrogant in forcing tips. Anyway, there are many good Chinese foods in Munich. There is no reason for the location Will come again
Very excellent and authentic restaurant. Service is extra ordinary. I can highly recommend it.
Objective evaluation: The dishes are very hard to eat, and really hard to eat. My friends and I ordered the yellow pheasant chicken tiger skin pepper and gongbao tofu. The chicken odor of the yellow pheasant chicken was still there. , There are no shiitake mushrooms; tiger skin chili is an appetizer, no meal at all, the chili is full of oil, the soup is poor, and the kung pao tofu doesn't know how to evaluate, speechless. When we pay the bill, we are forced to default to let us pay a tip of 10%. We do n’t even ask us. We only saw it when we finally paid the bill. The waiter attitude was also very bad. Like this restaurant, with conscience, I recommend The farther you are from him, the better, to deceive consumers and waste social resources.
Very good food. However not so good service
Tasty, authentic food, nice service, nice atmosphere. Having spent a few months in Sichuan, I really missed Sichuanese cuisine. This restaurant does a great job at bringing you back. :) We spent 55 EUR for three huge main dishes, rice, two rounds of drinks and To all the people who complain about the high prices - This is not a "Asia Imbiss", please...
The environment in the restaurant is very good, with fresh floral aromas, the owner is very welcoming, and the food tastes great, without adding chicken essence and MSG, authentic Chengdu miso
We have visited many Asian restaurants and we must say that this is one of the best in Munich ? Very attentive and friendly service! We will be back for sure!
Good transitional Chinese food
Great lunch options and authentic Chinese food
Food and service were ok, but nothing special. Prices quite high for a Chinese restaurant, even in Munich, IMHO.
Authentic Chinese food from Sichuan. Very very good dishes, friendly waiters, clean place, large tables. And waiters speak different languages.
I would award this restaurant 0 stars if I could. Never in my life have I been explicitly chided by a waiter that my tip is too little. Do not visit this eatery if you do not want to get ripped off and have a disastrous eating experience. There are many way better Chinese hotpot restaurants in Munich.
High Price, Average Food Quality, Poor Service! 1) We made a reservation for 5 people for the hotpot and showed up only 4 cause one of us was ill, but we are still forced to pay for 5 people. The waiter claimed that the food is prepared in advance specially for 5, which is obviosly not true, cause nothing served is special or not in stock. The orinal quantity of 4 would not be enough for 4 people. 2) Food quality is average compared with other Chinese restaurants in Munich, but pricing is quite high. 3) At the end we paid in total 160 Euro, including 157.5 Euro for the hotpot for 4 people with one soft drink per person and 2.5 euro for tips. The waiter criticized us in in a rude manner for not giving enough tips. In Germany, there is no obligation to give tips and it is based on customers' satisfaction and willingness!!
One of the best restaurant experience i’ve had in a long time!
Come to the must-have restaurant in Munich, because we are here for the first time to visit Munich, the manager is very patient and recommended to match the 6-course taste is very good, because the time to go is relatively late, call in advance to make an appointment, the store manager also said if If you don't finish the closing time, you can wait for us for a while, and recommend it! ! ! ! !
Point noon package The dancho noodles, the taste is average, and there is no taste, and the sesame sauce and beef foam are placed. This is not spicy, the waiter specially explained this when ordering, saying that if you eat spicy, you can give it a spicy. Red oil, the waiter said that the store's own fried spicy sauce, the taste is light, it is estimated that the salt is less, the taste is only spicy and not fragrant. The fish-flavored eggplant is covered with rice, and the ginger is placed in the ingredients. From this point of view, the seasoning is meticulous and the taste is good, but it is not the kind of wow that is delicious. It is a dish that has nothing to do. This dish will be visited again. The sauce is cooked with chicken and rice, and the side dish has corn kernels and green beans. The chicken breast is used. It tastes bad and has a raw sauce. Rice, a large amount, the package contains small portions of rice. Overall evaluation, service attitude is very good, you can swipe the card, the package is quite cost-effective, the overall price is 3-5 euros higher than other hotels, but the environment is here, clean and bright, in general, the normal price/performance ratio, but from the fish-flavored eggplant I will come back to eat, and other things may not be so attractive to me.
food delicious
Decent Chinese with well priced lunch Menu (9.50€)
Great food and good service
The worst asian cousin in the city. The place is nice but the food fuuuf I dislike it. I think you have too less choices in the menu. it's the last place I would go being hungry. Sorry guys that's just my opinion.
Tasty food, nice place
Location: 4 points, more parking spaces near the restaurant The overall environment: 4 points, when we go, the dining peak may have passed, the restaurant is relatively neat Service: 4 points, the waiter (male) service is good, very intimate to bring special tableware to the children, it is very polite to do things. Meals: 2 points, too many dishes, almost every dish is thick thick. Fish-flavored pork is very unsuccessful Washroom: 4 points, rarely see such a clean bathroom in the Chinese restaurant Price: 1 point, the price is not cheap, but it can also be accepted in Munich. The last bill comes, and 10% of it is trinkgeld (tip). The waiter explained that we ate the above number, but the system uses it by default. The bold font marks the total price after the tip. I didn't tell you in advance, because the service is still good, I have no objection. But this practice is really not authentic, and I have not eaten a lot of Michelin high-end restaurants. The standard of the restaurant is also far from the standard of the restaurant that needs to add 10% service charge. As for the tipping issue, many evaluations have already explained this problem many times. I hope that the store can see and correct it. In most cases, the tip is paid by you voluntarily, not mandatory, which is unreasonable in Europe.
The dishes are OK, but they are asked to ask for tips when they check out. The amount of tipping should be more or less depends on the mood of the diners and the attitude of the service staff. However, in Germany, I think it is unreasonable to directly collect tips without consultation. It is also famous: since the tip is written on the bill, you should pay.
Authentic Chinese food. Very attentive and nice service. Easy to reach with public transportation.
#impolite #rude #expensive
Good excellent but no fresh air or ventilation in the restaurant.
Completely different food than what you get otherwise. Very highly recommended
The environment is good. The dishes are exquisite and the amount is sufficient. The hotel has a parking lot, but it needs a staff to help you open the door.
Best tofu I have ever tried
food not tasty
Really happy I randomly ended up here on a business lunch: delicious food, attentive staff and reasonable prices! I loved the fried eggplant with a nice complex, spicy sauce on the lunch menu and could not finish the meal since the portion was huge. All in all, absolutely a recommendation!
One of the closest to the authentic Sichuanese cuisine in München, great service, great menu (only in Deutsch or Chinese), maybe a little overpriced, but you know, it's in München where everything is expensive If you are searching a great Sichuanese experience this is the place for you, food is flavourful, not all the dishes are spicy, check the online menu before, you can reseve some special dishes
I would say average. Pro's: tasty food, nice location and atmosphere, clean toilets Con's: expensive, slow service, no English menu
28 euros for the squid dish. Very path. Too expensive for that it did not particularly taste. Staff was great!
Nice location but food is too average and prices too high. Very disappointed by the 水晶虾饺, texture and taste were way too off.
Very nice authentic Sichuan cuisine. Nice spices, very delicious dishes
Very good authentic cuisine, partly biting hot ?. Service friendly if available ?
Great lamb pot! Meat was tender and the vegetables perfectly cooked. Beautiful ambiance; fitted for parties.
Good foods, good drinks and good service.
Fine, authentic foods
